| Job Description: | As a Nakamura-Tome service technician, you will carry out ・Maintenance and repair of CNC machine tools. ・Troubleshooting, defect-analysis and proposal of corrective measures for our products. ・Reporting to service management and providing feedback to Distributors and customers. ・Installation and commissioning of new CNC machine tools. ・Implementation of design improvements and retrofitting work. ・Training for distributors and customers. |
| Requirements: |
・Good experience in the maintenance of CNC Turning centers and CNC Multitasking machines. ・Solid mechanical background including machine tool mechanics and accuracy, pneumatics, hydraulics, as well as a good understanding of CNC/ PMC software and hardware. ・Experience with machine operation and / or FANUC CNC control would be an advantage. ・Good conversational and written skills in English. ・Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers in friendly manner. ・Willingness to travel. |

ー Application Engineer Recruitment Guidelines
| Position Description: | Application Engineer |
| Job Description: | As a potential candidate, you should have hands-on experience in general machining process development, CNC programming, machine setup, and CNC machining of parts. In addition to training customers on machine operation, programming, and other software, you will perform other duties as described below. ・Process development for test cuts including chucking, tooling and programming. ・Machine set up, CNC programming, and machine runoff according to customer requirements. ・Customer training. ・Troubleshooting of manufacturing issues. ・Creation of machining layouts and time studies from customer part drawings. ・Making machine and software demos for exhibitions, opens houses and other events. ・Support of sales inquiries: determine machine model, define specifications and ・Perform other duties as assigned and required. |
| Requirements |
・Knowledge of mechanics, electronics, software and programming of CNC machines tools and their peripherals. ・Experience in process development, including chucking, tooling, programming, set up and machining on CNC Turning Centers as well as CNC multitasking machines. ・Understanding of part materials, tool characteristics, cutting conditions, ・Experience with program creation software, such as Manual guide, CAD/CAM, …etc. ・Hands on experience with statistical process control and achieving tolerances, Cpk, Cmk, …etc, according to customer requirements. ・If you have no experience with CNC lathes or CNC Multitasking machines, but have thorough experience with the setup, programming and parts machining on CNC Machining Centers, and are willing to acquire knowledge of CNC lathes and Multitasking machines, then you are welcome to apply. ・Experience with FANUC control would be an advantage. ・Good conversational and written skills in English are required. ・Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers in friendly manner. ・Willingness to travel. |

| Requirements |
・Experience in machine tools sales, applications and/or production of machined parts. : ・Knowledge of CNC controls and machine tool features. ・Good conversational and written skills in English are required. Other languages are an asset. ・Excellent communication skills and ability to interact and convince. ・Ability to make PowerPoint presentations and to explain the advantages of our products. ・Willingness to travel. |
