Designed to focus on compactness, the NT-Flex has a slim machine depth of just 1,380 mm, allowing installation in tight spaces. This enables an efficient layout, making the most of limited factory space.
The NT-Flex is equipped with a Y-axis and milling capability (up to 10,000 min⁻¹) on the upper turret, allowing it to handle all machining processes—from turning to milling, threading, and gear cutting—in a single machine. It meets our proprietary rigidity standards, providing substantial machining capability in a compact form. This CNC lathe is versatile and can be used for various applications regardless of material.
ChronoCut Standard Equipped
Nakamura-Tome has incorporated its unique idle time reduction feature, “ChronoCut,” as a standard feature. ChronoCut is software designed to shorten idle time during machining processes. As the machining conditions remain unchanged, it does not affect accuracy.

Ideal for seamless bar material machining
The NT-Flex offers a range of peripheral equipment. By connecting a bar feeder on the loading side and selecting the “Parts Catcher G” for unloading, it enables continuous machining from bar material. Combined with a chip conveyor and a remnant disposal unit, the NT-Flex can support long periods of automated operation.
Additionally, with milling capabilities on both the upper and lower turrets, the NT-Flex can also machine square shapes from bar material.

In processing workpieces with a diameter of φ38 and below, there has been an increase in diverse and small-batch production, along with more milling operations, resulting in greater complexity.
